My qualifications
Following a degree in Chemistry I was finding myself researching more about the benefits of certain nutrients than anything I learnt in my years at university, so I quickly enrolled onto an evidence-based diploma course at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Four years later I was fully qualified and working with some fantastic clients and companies to share this knowledge.
Since 2020 I have been working as a BANT registered Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist specialising in gut health, mental wellbeing and women's health.
My approach
Coming from a science-background, I use an evidence-based, multifaceted approach to support individuals, brands and companies with nutrition advice, consulting and education. A quick google search for a healthy diet can leave you with an endless stream of conflicting and confusing advice. This is something I want to clear up by re-educating, myth-busting and removing the stigma and misconceptions around nutrition.
At the centre of my work is the belief that food should be a source of joy, not just nutrition, and promotes that restriction is not part of a healthy lifestyle.
My favourite Zooki
My favourite Zooki supplement is Vitamin C! I have a number of clients who struggle with taking pills and/or have too sensitive a stomach for other vitamin C products so this always goes down well. It's a great dose, easily absorbed and tastes brilliant. I particularly like the watermelon flavour, both because of the taste and as it also contains vitamin B12 providing an extra boost for energy.
