My qualifications

Kirsty has been a Dentist since 2002 and has recently opened her own facial aesthetics clinic in the Nottingham area. Kirsty has a keen interest in women’s health and the impact of ageing and hormone changes/ menopause on general and oral health in particular.

Through her aesthetics practice, Kirsty strives to help women to look and feel good by enhancing their natural features and restoring natural beauty in a subtle yet effective manner. Her aim is to shape and create YOU…but better!

As a Dentist, Kirsty is keen to raise awareness of the impact of ageing and menopause on oral health. Kirsty founded the Menopause Mouth to help women to take back control of their oral health and reduce their risk of dental diseases like tooth decay, gum disease and tooth loss by providing support, oral health education, workshops, courses and even, coaching packages to suit your individual needs.

My approach

As a healthcare professional, Kirsty strives to understand her patient’s concerns and to formulate a treatment plan that is bespoke and most appropriate to their needs. She takes an evidence-based approach to treatment and enjoys learning and understanding the science around ageing and the menopause.

Her personal stance is that the menopause transition is caused by the decline in sex hormones, primarily Oestrogen. Although the impact of oestrogen decline will affect each and every one of us differently, as women we will ALL experience menopause and she believes it is important that we are prepared, informed and make healthy choices before, during and after menopause.

Aesthetic/ cosmetic procedures can support our skin and body from the outside, but what goes on from the inside is almost entirely out of our control, and ageing comes to us all in time. Why suffer unnecessarily when supplements could help?

That is why I am an advocate for everyone to use supplements that can help your body to battle the natural ageing process, to continue to look and feel good and support you to live happily and healthily.

My favourite Zooki

My favourite Zooki is the Collagen. I like the flavour (Mango) and the texture is perfect. With zero fishy taste this is probably the best tasting collagen supplement that I’ve tired (and I’ve tried a few!). The sachet is great to have in my bag and the recycling reward programme is superb! Plus with the liposomal technology I can feel confident that this collagen is getting absorbed and able to do it’s job!
