All research & clinical trials
For the last 7 years, we’ve been researching how nutrients are absorbed into the body so we can design products that have a bigger impact. After multiple iterations, studies and clinical trials, we're proud to say we have developed products which are both clinically proven and deliver up to 4x higher absorption than conventional supplements. You can navigate and read the culmination of all our science, research and clinical trials below.
The aim of this study was to assess the level of protection Zooki Liposomes provide Vitamin C with as it passes through your digestive system.
By simulating the acidic environments of both the stomach and intestines, we can measure the degradation of Zooki Liposomal Vitamin C VS. Vitamin C in its raw, non-encapsulated form over time.

nutrient protection study
To verify the findings of our in-vitro Vitamin C protection study, we conducted the same study on a different nutrient (glutathione) to confirm our liposomes offer protection across different nutrients, both in a liquid and a capsule format.

An independent, open label, cross-over randomised, oral bioavailability comparison study of Zooki liposomal vitamin C VS. non-liposomal vitamin C in healthy adults under fasting conditions.
The clinical trial found 3.91 x more Vitamin C in the bloodstream over a 48h period when using Zooki Vitamin C compared to conventional Vitamin C.
We replicated our absorption trial on liposomal Vitamin C, this time using Glutathione.
The findings remained consistent, with 3.56 x more Glutathione in the bloodstream over a 48h period when using Zooki Glutathione compared to conventional Glutathione.
The aim of this clinical trial was to investigate the impact of hydrolysed marine collagen ingestion on skin hydration, elasticity and roughness. This trial used the same collagen found in all Zooki Collagen products.
This study found statistically significant improvements in skin elasticity, hydration and smoothness for those who took collagen compared to the placebo in as little as 4 weeks. What's more - those who didn't take collagen saw their skin deteriorate over the same period.
clinical trial
In another third party clinical trial, Iron Zooki was put to the test to measure the impact on haemoglobin levels in patients with iron deficiency anaemia.
The results? A 50% bigger increase in haemoglobin count when using Zooki Liposomal Iron vs. a conventional iron supplement in people with iron deficiency anaemia.*

clinical trial
In a third party trial conducted by St Mary's university, Turmeric Zooki was put to the test to measure it's impact on post-exercise recovery and inflammatory markers. 30 participants were given either a) a placebo b) a single dose of Turmeric Zooki or c) a double dose of Turmeric Zooki.
The results? A statistically significant reduction in muscle soreness in both the single and double dose Turmeric Zooki groups.*

characterisation studies
To demonstrate the liposomal characteristics and stability of Zooki liposomes, our lipid delivery systems are independently tested using a wide range of methods including Zeta Potential, DLS, Cryo-TEM and FESEM. See below a full index of the tests we have run to substantiate the liposomal nature of both our liquid and dry delivery systems.
