My qualifications
I've always had an interest in health and healing and initially worked as an occupational therapist in the NHS for a number of years. After realising this wasn't my path, I decided to focus on my passion for nutrition and trained as a naturopathic nutritionist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, qualifying in 2014 with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy. I am a registered member of the Naturopathic Nutrition Association and have a NCFE CACHE level 2 certificate in counselling skills.
My approach
I specialise in support for people with binge eating disorder and those who have an unhappy relationship with food. After many years of my own struggles with food, I've created a successful method that involves working one to one with clients over a 3 month period, in order to move into a balanced way of eating. I use nutrition within a truly holistic framework, understanding that problems with eating occur due to multiple physical and psychological factors. I understand the pitfalls of applying a "clean eating" approach, whilst appreciating the incredible power proper nutrition has in healing the mind, body and soul.
My favourite Zooki
Whilst I love all the ones I've used, I have to say my ultimate favourite is the Vitamin C Zooki. I'd been searching for a great liposomal vitamin C product for a while but most of them cost the earth. Most supplements on the market are quite boring for people, and they take them inconsistently, so it's a big plus point to have a sachet that's easy to use and tastes absolutely delicious!
