My qualifications
I always wanted to be a doctor and couldn't wait to start my training! I graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School in London in 2000. I went on to complete my basic and higher surgical training with a period of research where I looked at the neuromodulation of the large bowel. I looked after many women with functional bowel and pelvic floor disorders which made their lives unbearable. After a lot of careful thought, I made the really tough decision to leave the NHS and set up my own private clinic in South East London. I have looked after women wanting to look and feel better ever since then, with the SkinFit programmes I created.
When Covid happened, I realised there was more I could do to help women stay as healthy as possible and so Human Health was born. I have undertaken further rigorous training with the Institute of Functional Medicine, The Kalish Institute, The British College of Lifestyle Medicine and am currently undertaking my Diploma in Functional Nutrition with ION.
My approach
I truly believe that our body has all the answers to be and stay healthy. We just need to support it on this journey which keeps changing as our body travels the trials and tribulations of the external and internal stressors together with nutritional challenges that we come across (some self-imposed!)
Through our Human Health process, we have helped countless women remove the blocks to their health so they can truly live their healthiest life and reach their highest potential. When you book in to see us, you will have a full 360 view of where your health is at now and how we are going to help you achieve your health and life goals. Our team is composed of Dr Mayoni, a Functional Nutritionist, a weight loss consultant, a SkinFit specialist and two life coaches. We are passionate and dedicated to helping you live your best and sparkliest life.
My favourite Zooki
To be honest it's really hard to pick just one - as I usually recommend the Human Health Fab 5 to our wonderful patients. In that list are Vitamin D, Magnesium and Omega 3 fatty acids (a good multi vitamin and a probiotic are also on that list!). I also love the Collagen Zooki for our SkinFit patients. It's actually one of the few truly effective collagen supplements because it's so easily absorbed and used by our body. This is because it is hydrolysed and the right molecular weight to allow it to be absorbed easily in the gut.
